ipe5toxml software package provides converts Ipe5 figures to an XML file readable by Ipe, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ipe5toxml
ipe5toxml is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ipe5toxml package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ipe5toxml *
You will get with ipe5toxml package name, version, architecture and description in a table
